	Ἄθρει μελουργῶ οἵω καὶ μόνω φίλε·
	δα(υὶ)δ μελωδέοντι τῆς ἐκκλησίας,
	ὃς τῆ πρὸς αὐτὸν ἐκπλαγεὶς τραγῳδίη·
	ζώων φύσεις θέλγοντά που καὶ δενδρέων·
	ἀλλʹ ὀρφέα κρούοντα θείην πυκτίδα·
	θ(εὸ)ν σέβοντα ὃν πάροιθεν ἠγνόουν·
	τὸ καινὸν ἆσμα, ποῖος ἔψεται νόος:
	ὀρφῆα τοῦτον, οὐ τὸν ἔξω πρὸς φράσοι·
	ὡς οἷα τοῖς μύθοισιν ἐξυφασμ(έν)α.
	οἷς τοῖς μέλεσιν ἕπετʹ ἀθνέων γένη:++
