Palaeographical information	The initial and title are written in red ink. The scribe of this epigram uses a peculiar abbreviation for καὶ, similar to 'εσ'. In v.1 the more common abbreviation for κ(αὶ) is written above this 'εσ'.
Contextual information	The epigram is the third in a series of four epigrams, located in between the text of Euripides' Phoinissai.
