	Βροντὴ πέφυκεν ἡ θεηγόρος λύρα,
	βροντῶσα, κηρύττουσα τῇ οἰκουμένῃ,
	Ἰωάννης, ἄρρητον οὐσίαν, μόνην,
	θείαν, τριφεγγῆ, δημιουργὸν τῶν ὅλων·
	ἔγνω γὰρ ὄντως καὶ γράφει θείᾳ βίβλῳ,
	καὶ νοῦν δᾳδουχεῖ καὶ καταυγάζει φρένας.
