	Ἀρχῆς ἀπ᾽ ἄκρης καὶ τέλους μέσον τόδε
	βίβλου τρισολβίου τε καὶ Θεῷ φίλης,
	σοφῆς ἀρίστης καὶ καλῆς διδασκάλου
	τῆς τοῦ καθʹ ἡμᾶς Ὀρφέως Δαυὶδ λέγω˙
	ὃς τὴν κινύραν ἐνθεέστατα μάλα
	κρούων ὑπηγόρευσεν βελτίστην τρίβον˙
	τουτ' ἔστι τριπλῆς τέρμα πεντηκοντάδος.
