Comment	On the term θυτορακενδύτης see Turyn (1980: 120): 'In the word θυτορακενδύτου, the first component indicates that Methodius was a priest (θύτης); the second that he was a ρακενδύτης, i.e., a monk. Consequently, he was a hieromonk.'
