	Ἡ δέλτος αὕτη τὴν τετράστοιχον κτίσιν:
	λογογραφοῦσα μυστικῶς πέλει κτίσις·
	φέρει γὰρ ὡς γῆν τὰς στερεμνίους πτύχας·
	τὸν ἄργυρόν τε λευκόμορφον ὡς ὕδωρ·
	ἔχει διαυγῆ λευκόλεπτον αἰθέρα:
	ἐν ὧ μὲν εἰσίν ὥσπερ ἀστέρες λόγοι·
	ὡς πῦρ δέ θερμὸ(ς) τοῦ λέοντος ὁ πόθος·
	οὗτο(ς) γὰρ αὐτὴν εὐφυῶς ἡρμοσμὲνην,
	ἀνεκαίνισεν εὐκλεὴς φιλοπόνως·
	ἀλλ᾽ ὦ χ(ριστ)έ μου τῶ πόθω κτισαμένωι,
	λύτρον παράσχε δεινῶν ἁμαρτημάτων·
	ταῖς δεήσεσιν τῶν εὐαγγελιστῶν σου;
	ματθαίου μάρκου λουκᾶ καὶ ἰωάννου:-
